MWB PGM (IL) Richard L. Swaney and WB Greg Knott
Greg Knott is Past Master of St. Joseph Lodge No. 970 and a dual member of Ogden Lodge No. 754 and Homer Lodge No. 199. In 2011 St. Joseph Lodge No. 970 won the Illinois Grand Masters Award of Excellence and was recognized by the Masonic Service Association with a 2011 Mark Twain Award for Masonic Excellence. St. Joseph Lodge was the first lodge ever in Illinois to win the Mark Twain award.
He is a member of the Valley of Danville Scottish Rite, Champaign Royal Arch Chapter No. 50, Urbana Council No. 19 of Cryptic Masons and Urbana Commandery No. 16 Knights Templar. Additionally he is a member of GAO Grotto in Danville, ANSAR Shrine of Springfield Illinois and Order of the Eastern Star Hope Chapter No. 104 Champaign, IL and the National Association of Masonic Scouters.
He is member of the Scottish Rite Research Society and a founding member of The Masonic Society and has been published in the Scottish Rite Journal, the Journal of the Masonic Society and the Illinois Grand Lodge Freemasonry magazine.
Outside of Masonry he collects antique tractors, is very active in Scouting and serves as on the Board of Trustees of Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois.
