Jamie Patrick Sutherlin - Rantoul Lodge

Jamison (Jamie) Patrick Sutherlin born on January 4, 1978 left us too soon on October 31, 2016 at his home in Gifford, Illinois.  He is survived by his parents, Len and Mary Sutherlin, his son Austin, his love, Trish Wernigk, two sisters, Brenda (Mike) Runyon and Sandra (Joe) Lewis as well as 5 nephews, two great nieces and four great nephews.  He attended Rantoul Township High School and Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona.  Jamie had an outstanding appreciation for all kinds of music.  He also enjoyed coaching Falcon football and touched the lives of many young players.  His love for sports was evident in the fact that he could rattle off any sports statistic asked of him!  He was an avid Cubbies fan and was ecstatic to see them in the World Series this year.  He loved being a locksmith and worked at Locksmith Services in Champaign, Illinois.  Jame was a proud member of the Free Masons.  His upcoming membership in the Masonic motorcycle club, Widows Sons, gave him great joy.  He had a huge heart, was always willing to help, didn't know a stranger and had numerous friends and family who will miss his big hugs, strong handshake and contagious smile. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Rantoul Masonic Lodge, 117 W. Champaign Ave., Rantoul, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Gifford State Bank in an account set up for his son Austin or made to the Free Masons
