WESTVILLE – Jimmy C. Giuliani, 70, of Westville passed away at 1:20 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 23, 2015) at his home.
Jimmy was born on Feb. 19, 1945, in Danville, the son of George Jim and Lola Ruth Acord Giuliani. Jimmy married Marna Sue Steenbergen on June 5, 1993, in Westville. Marna passed away on June 2, 2011.
Survivors include one son, Camron Jim (Tawnya) Giuliani of Westville; three daughters, Tamara (Troy) Tranchant of Danville, Jacinta (Rey) Tapia of Danville and Nicole Giuliani of Danville; two stepdaughters, Thursa Kirby of Westville and Dawn Wilcox of South Carolina; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his special friends Buck Kantout and Jim B. and his cat, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Jones.
Jimmy was a Navy veteran and was a conductor of the Union Pacific Railroad.
He was a member of the Westville American Legion Post 51 and served on the Legion Funeral Honor Guard. He was also a member of the Catlin Masonic Lodge and was a 32 degree Mason.
He enjoyed golfing, listening to rock 'n' roll and country music, crossword puzzles and hummingbirds. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved watching rain and thunderstorms. He loved to cook and canoe and generally loved life.
Graveside rites will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sandusky Cemetery in Westville, with Ron Noggle to officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Westville American Legion Post 51.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Masonic Rites by the Catlin Masonic Lodge will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Robison Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Westville American Legion Honor Guard.
