Harry Franklin Mueller Jr. - Sheldon Lodge

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of
Harry Franklin Muller, Jr.,  MSA
                                           

We have just been notified that Harry “Hack” Muller, 89, of Sheldon passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.

Hack was born June 18, 1925 in Crescent City, the son of Harry F. and Florence Knox Muller Sr. and they preceded him in death in addition to one brother, Glenn Muller and one nephew, Mark Muller. He married Mary Mae Armstrong on September 1, 1949 in Watseka and she preceded him in death on March 14, 2002.

He is survived by one daughter, Melodee (John Jr.) Davenport of Sheldon; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Muller of Bayfield, CO; two grandchildren, Keaton and Gabe Davenport of Sheldon; and one nephew, Alan (Dawn) Muller of Bayfield, CO.

Mr. Muller was a member of the Sheldon Masonic Lodge, Danville Scottish Rite, receiving his MSA in 1990, Iroquois Valley Shrine Club and Watseka American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Hack farmed in the Sheldon area for over 40 years and enjoyed traveling.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon. Entombment will be in the Sheldon Mausoleum with military graveside rites by the Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.

Visitation was from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon with Masonic services being held at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Sheldon Masonic Lodge, Sheldon Fire Dept. & EMTs or donor’s choice.
Thus ends the record of a just and upright Mason. SO MOTE IT BE!
