He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Carolyn; daughter, Lori Sellers; and sister, Claudette Moore.
Bill was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Armstrong to Walter and Thelma (Greer) Frye. He attended Oakwood schools and graduated from Oakwood High School in 1955. He then married the love of his life, Carolyn Morris, on Oct. 18, 1955, in Paris. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2012.
Bill was a truck driver for Flex-N-Gate in Urbana and was a member of the Catlin Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed genealogy, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. Bill loved to sing karaoke and would find out where his daughter Teri was going to be hosting it so he could show up and sing. He had recorded his own CD in Sevierville, Tenn. Bill liked to spend time with family and to hang out at Henk's Bait Shop and the Oakwood truck stops. He loved to interact with people at these places as well as anywhere he went. Bill was never too busy to stop and talk to you. He was always there to lend a helping hand with whatever anyone needed. Bill will be missed by all who knew him.
