Harold Jolley

POTOMAC – Harold M. Jolley, 79, of Potomac passed away at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 18, 2014) at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
Harold was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Potomac, the son of Winnie Martin and Ruby Mae (Spain) Jolley. He married Shirley Deloris Spangler on April 27, 1956, in Danville. She survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Douglas Hall (Elizabeth) Jolley of Centerville, Ohio, and Timothy Martin (Mary) Jolley of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, Tyler Jolley, Christian Jolley, Kaitlin Willis, Allison Jolley, Shean Jolley, Matthew Jolley and Samantha Jolley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Harold graduated from Potomac High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Middlefork United Methodist Church, Potomac American Legion and Potomac Masonic Lodge No. 0782.
Harold enjoyed fishing and he was very proud that he was born and raised and spent his whole life in Potomac.
A celebration of Harold's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Wolfe-Blurton Funeral Home in Potomac. Pastor Randy Holden will officiate. Burial will be in Potomac Cemetery, following the service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
