Danny was an amazing individual who dedicated his life to educating and coaching students at Danville Area Community College. He taught many classes through his years at DACC but he is also known for starting the wrestling team in 1967 and coaching it until 1978. He also coached the soccer team in 1979; just last year in 2012, Danny was inducted into the DACC Athletic Hall of Fame.
He could also be found spending time flying RC airplanes in Kickapoo Park. Danny also loved motorcycles, Harleys in particular; he started with a sportster and moved his way up the ranks to larger and louder bikes.
Danny was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Elks Club and the Gao Grotto. He will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.
