Masonic Week 2013 Day 1

I am currently attending Masonic Week 2013, which this year was moved to Reston, Viriginia.  Masonic Week is considered the "in-gathering" of Freemasonry.  Masonic week consists of numerous bodies that hold their annual meetings during this week.

Arriving on Thursday, I attended the banquet (though I am not a member) of the Societas Rosicruciana in Cibitatibus Foederitis and listened to Brother Christopher Hodapp speak on the history of Freemasonry in the early time of the United States.  Brother Hodapp's talk was well received amongst the brethren in attendance.

The place to hangout in the evenings is the hospitality suite of the Masonic Society.  The Masonic Society is quickly becoming one of the premier Masonic research societies in the United States.  Here you have the opportunity to speak with brethren from across the US and beyond.
