James Dunn Jr.

URBANA – James L. Dunn Jr., 90, of Urbana passed away Thursday (May 31, 2012) at home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Patterson Cemetery in St. Joseph.
He served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific on the USS White Plaines.
He was a member of carpenter's Local No. 44 from 1945 until he retired in 1988. He was a member of the building trades, Shriner's, and he was a Mason.
James was born Aug. 15, 1921, to James and Georgia Dunn in Urbana, both deceased. He married Maxine L. Yeazel on June 29, 1946. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James (Roberta) Dunn of St. Louis, Mo., Charles (Evelyn) Dunn of Champaign, Mark (Valerie) Dunn of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Susan (Greg) Brown of Danville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathryn Beedle of Arizona.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Urbana, Crisis Nursery, or Shriner's Hospital.
Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, is handling arrangements.
